What Does Profuse Sweating And Dizziness When On Bystolic Medicine Suggest?

Hi. I am on the lowest dose of bystolic. My blood pressure has become hypotensive and my normal pulse rate has dropped drastically. I have has profuse sweating and weakness as well as dizziness. The dose has been cut in half for a day so far and I am still experiencing these symptoms. Would it be safe to stop the bystolic. Would the risk of cutting it outweigh the benefits of taking it at this point. Thank you for your help in advance.

Hello,

Yes, your signs may be strongly related to the treatment. However I can not say if you can stop it or not. For this you should discuss with your treating doctor who knows better your actual clinical picture.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
