Hi. Thanks for the query. During your urine analysis,your urine is examined under a microscope and the visual field is divided into squares. A certain number of cells within a field is considered normal. 2-4 is normal. HPF stands for per high power field. Its mainly due to contamination of the sample during collection. You need not worry about it at all. Hope i have answered your query.
