What Does Recurring Fever At Night With Headache Mean?

Hi I have been experiencing weird fevers lately. I started to notice them last week and have since noticed that they are only coming on at night. Usually around the same time of night. Everything feels like it is burning and sometimes I have a headache. What could be going on?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring fever at night with headache which seems to be due to bacterial or viral infection. It could be due to upper respiratory tract infection as well. I would suggest you to visit general physician once and go for thorough examination of blood count along with throat swab test and get it diagnosed and start treatment accordingly. You should get sinus x ray and a sinus discharge culture done to exclude possible sinus infection. Take steam inhalation. Avoid cold liquids. You should do tepid sponging.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
