What Does Redness Under The Navel Along With Fever And Chills Indicate?

every 4 or more months i develop redness below the belly button down about 3_4 inches and from side to side along with fever and chills. drains my energy. it will last 3-4 days then the area cools off and feels like a slight sunburn to the touch. too weak to go to dr. im in a wheelchair due to osteoarthritis and i have to walk down my ramp into the car. i also have lymphedema. what could it be?

Hi,

Are you obese?? in obese patients may develop skin fold bacterial or fungal infection lead to rash and itching. Other possibilities like cystitis or urethritis may present like this.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Apply candid dusting powder locally, use tablet Cetirizine twice a day for five days.
Apply Moisturex cream or lotion.

If Symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
