Hello Doctor, I am 29 years old girl. I had one abortion of 1 and seven days. Now i am pregnant again but during second month i had bleeding my baby is safe. i had gone through 3 scan in my 3month pregnancy. I am taking rest on leaves now. In my last scan it shows placenta is anterior near os with retroplacnetal clot inferiorly near os. is there anything serious in this case. doctor advised me to take rest for further 3 months due to that i am going to lose my job because she told me to avoid travelling. Is there any way out? is sex is safe now?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Small retroplacental clot only need follow up scan.In majority of the cases ,it resolves with advancement of pregnancy.Even if it persists,it doesn't interfere normal pregnancy.
However, you should avoid strenuous activity and rightly advised to take proper rest.It is not a serious problem.
You should avoid vigorous sex.

Hope I have answered your question.
Take Care
