What Does Scattered Foci Predominantly Subcortical White Matter T2 Hyperintensity.. Mean?

My MRI showed a few scattered foci predominantly subcortical white matter T2 hyperintensity, strictly non specific. No mass lesion is identified. As well as mild generalized parenchymal volume loss. Extra CSF-containing spaces and the ventricles are within normal limits. Major intracranial flow voidds are preserved. What does this mean, and does this predispose me to dementia?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
As you understood it, that this is non specific, the more important is your clinical symptoms if it does not correlating with the findings then, there is nothing to worry about this, the findings of MRI does not shows any abnormality, neither this could cause any dementia in future, I hope this answer would be helpful, take care and have nice day.
