What Does Severe Disc Height Loss And Small Disc Osteophyte Shown On MRI Mean?

Mri shows severe disc height loss and small disc osteophyte complexes, mild canal stenosis and moderately severe foraminal stenosis sencondary to uncinate spurring along with posterior annular fissure all in cervical spine. What the heck does all that mean and will I need surgery?
