What Does Severe Nausea Indicate After Fever And Sore Throat Have Subsided?

My son is 22, he woke up this morning with fever, nausea, sore throat and some nasal pressure. His fever was 100, now he has severe nausea and vomiting, he can t keep even water down. His fever is gone, nasal sinus pressure gone, and sore throats gone. Pushing on his abdomen but not areas of pain noted. His nausea and vomiting are severe.
