What Does Severe Pain In The Arm After An Injury Indicate?

Hello. Friday I fell and hurt my arm. The dr at urgent care said I did not brake or dislocate my elbow but sprained it. Since then my shoulder has started hurting. my forearm and hand especially my thumb and top of my hand. Sometimes when trying to use my arm my elbow feels like it is popping in and out and I can here clicking or grinding. The pain gets so much worse after and it seems like any progress is set back. Could they have missed a break?

dear
thanks for writing to HCM
For any hairline crack or any fracture there must be pain associated with swelling.
here chances are a lot for a sprain.
please do start with a creep bandage Along with some analgesic and anti-inflammatory like zerodolsp.
No need for any topical massage but do try to give rest to the limb.
however for persistent pain we need a x ray to be done.
hope this helps
