hi doctor..i want to as you about the x-ray result of my son..the result of her x-ray is suspicious densities both upper lobes an apricolordotic view is suggested..we need this medical for her school to enter the criminology course..thank you and god bless u..

Thanks for writing in.

In the usual Chest X ray, sometimes opacities may be suspected in the upper lobes which may not always be true. To confirm it an apicolordotic view is required. This will show if indeed there are any opacities in apical part of upper lobes. If there is confusion even on doing apicolordotic views, then a CT scan is suggested to evaluate in detail.
