What Does Swelling Around Waist Indicate?

I have a mysterious swelling that appeared a day ago. It started as a small swelling in the small of my back that began as a red, raised, and painful then as the days passed, it began to spread around my waist along the side and now a small swelling appeared in the front.

Hello,

I have studied your case.

As per your history it looks swelling of soft tissue which can be hemangioma or sebaceous cyst.
I will advise to consult surgeon for clinical examination and if required proper investigation.
I will advise you to do MRI and Ultrasound of the swelling.
Benign swelling giving rise to pain can be excised.
