What Does Swelling In Legs In Diabetic Indicate?
i am a diabetic women, age 55, my weight is 108 kg. presently i am taking insulin 14 units in the morning at 9 am and 12 unit in evening. i also take piozmf 15 mg after lunch and dinner. my glycosylated HB is 8. my fasting sugar level is 113 and PP 124. my other blood tests are normal. but my legs are swelling always. kindly advise.

I am very happy to see your blood sugar in a fair control.I am very happy you are this conscientious because having a well controlled blood sugar is very important in preventing the onset of diabetic complications.
in my opinion swelling of your feet might be due to the medication Pioz
I suggest you to discuss with your doctor regarding this drug as it causes weight gain and swelling of legs.
