What Does Swelling In The Ankles And Hands Indicate?

My problem is that only my systalic number is high. My doctor has me on losartan hctz 12.5 mg, amlodipine 2.5 mg and clonidine .1 nmg. The problem is that this mixture has my ankles and hands swelling, I get dizzy, and have a constant cough and it doesn make a great deal of difference. My normal diastolc numbers seem awfully low sometimes. What should I do?

Avoid Amlodipine .
If there is associated pain in hands and ankles, go for lab tests as TLC DLC ESR and serum uric acid besides RA factor .
