What Does Swelling In The Left Knee Indicate?

I am 81 and in good health. About 6 months ago my doctor added Fish Oil vitamin supplement to other vitamins I am taking. Since then I have had trouble with my left knee swelling. Any correlation or just old age problem? I am female if that makes a difference. Weight is about 10 pounds more than I would like. Main concern is why the knee is swollen (at times). Thank you.

Hello,
There is not likely a correlation between the knee swelling and the fish oil. It is most likely from arthritis or some strain of the muscles or ligaments. If it is very painful or not resolving then see your doctor for an exam.
