What Does Swelling In The Lips Indicate?

Hi! So I recently did meth, I'm pretty used to the side effects, but last night I smoked for a while and 2 hours later after i had stopped I started biting on my bottom right lip... it's extremely swollen and red and there's sores that are starting to look yellow , I did a home remedy with baking soda and now it's even worst. What should I do?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Swelling and sores on the lip due to biting post smoking Meth seems to be due to traumatic injury caused by the teeth..
It has led to inflammation and ulceration..
Also smoking meth can have side effect of swollen lip..
So first of all avoid smoking..
Secondly you should start doing cool compressed over the lip frequently throughout the day..
It will reduce inflammation and swelling..
Along with it you should also apply a combination of steroid and antiseptic ointment over the sores..
Avoid biting the lip again..
Consult an Emergency room if the symptoms does not improve..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
