What Does The CT Myelogram Result Suggest?

CT Myelogram shows moderate sized left lateral defect at L2-L3 causing amputation of the left L3 nerve root. Stable amputation of the left L4 nerve root sleve and smaller left later defect is present at L3-L4. Seen anteriorly the prominent extradural space from L3-L4 down to the sacrum. Only small anterior extradural defects at L3-L4, L4-L5, L5-S1. Boad-based left paramedian and far left lateral disc herniation at L2-L3 versus a prominent left-sided and left lateral disc bulge. Disc material clearly extends into the left L2-L3 neural foramen. Postsurgical changes at L3 of a laminectomy with a large disc bulge greater tot the left at L3-L4 which is stable. Degenerative changes seen at L4-5 and L5-S1.

My history is back pain for 6 years now. Back surgery #1 micro discectomy L5-S1. #2 Lum-Lam, L3-L4. No changes cont pain in Lumbar region with radiation thur right SI area down out aspect of left leg down to foot. Also pain radiating into right groin.

Hi!

I read carefully your query.
You have a degenerative disease of spine which is very common in advanced age,but you should not disturb.
First of all you may take some pain killer and should not strain yourself till you be well and than you should do sport like swimming (without gravity) for some months and after some months you will be okay.

Wishing you all best.
