Hi,I tested Elisa-3 ,HCV reactive but ELISA-4 negative. ALT 32 and AST 25.My question is what it stand for if this HCV is chronic or acute. Second question if any threat to life?

HCV stands for Hepatitis C Virus.
It can start as acute and can be chronic too.
Chronic infections can lead to cirrhosis which lead to liver failure which is usually fatal, but this situation comes after many years of infection.
