my son is now around 6 month and he sufferd proplems in his birth and this is the report of MRI when he was 3 month: premature cerebral degenerative changes with subvolumic state and alterd deep white matter signals suggestive of regionaly arrested / or defective myelination representing consequences of perinatal hypoxic ischemic insult matching the given clinical history................he is now smiling ,roll over, crowling, stand his head around 95%,has i contact but medium concentration, can hold toys with both hands..............what is ur opinion for cure however all doctors said that he is near to normal but i am afraid from his future.can i send a video for him to help u in evaluating him
From your description, he is having normal development so far. But, given the history of issues at the time of birth and abnormal MRI report, we have to keep a close watch on his development. Also, a repeat MRI scanning at 1 yr age will be a good idea. Kindly discuss with your doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
