What Does The Hip MRI Report Indicate?

I have recently had an mri of my left hip which showed an endochroma that my dr. said is benign. Also this hip is about 1 1/2 inches larger in diameter . I am having groin pain, pain in the hip joint, pain radiating down the side of my thigh and across my knee into my leg. In my pants that hip is much higher than the other hip giving an appearance of jacked up on that side as my grandson says and its become very difficult to walk. I also have inner thigh main that mimicks cramping when getting in my suv.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
Enchondroma is a benign bone tumour that occurs mostly in small bones of hands but can origin at other places like hip on rare occasions.it lies within bone and origin from cartilage cells hence the name. It grows within bone and expands it and hence bone size appears large.since it is in left hip you are getting pain on that side. Pain in your knee is referred pain.thos tumour should be excised as early as possible as it's very symptomatic and affecting joint movement and function. Please visit orthopedic consultant nearby you. All the best.
