What Does The Home Test With Positive Leukocyte Indicate?

I am wondering what type of UTI i have if the home test that I took, which is positive for leukocyte, will respond to over the counter medication . My doctor is not available until Monday. The OTC medication contains Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride 97.5 mg x 2. Thank you for your time and response. Judy G

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have home urine test is positive for leukocyte. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination as well as culture and sensitivity test. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Drugs like levofloxacin or norfloxacin can be helpful. It is not over the counter drug. It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Drink plenty of water.
