What Does The Path Lab Tests For Thyroid Indicate?

Sir, My daughter 36 years old.
( 1)Observed pathological value on 10-10-11 are T-3--195, T-4-13.8, TSH -0.16, AMA negative
( 2) Ciplax LA 40 ,BD for 1& half month,Cap- Regurex-1OD for 02 month.
(3)Again pathology test done on 23-11-11 .Observation are T-3-94, T-4-4.21ug, TSH +60
(4) Gain weight 6 Kg in last 03 month
( 5) Doctor advised Lethyrox -100 for three month. Pl advise further line of course & where she will get best treatment .

Good day,
Noted the question and the blood reports. It is typical presentation of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Initial Low TSH and later high TSH. Your doctor has prescrbed the right medicine. Continue Levothyroxine 100 mcg in the morning and recheck the TSH after 6 weeks. Check an Anti TPO as well. If this is significantly positive, she may need lifelong treatment.
