What Does The Report With Mitral Inflow Showing Diastolic Dysfunction Mean?

Left ventricular systolic function is within normal limits with ejection fraction calculated at 55%. There is inferoseptal wall hypokinesis. Wall thickness and chamber size are within normal limits. Mitral inflow pattern shows E/A reversal consistent with diastolic dysfunction. What does it mean?

Hi,

The echo report indicates possibleheart attack in the past, (inferoseptal hypokinezia), and diastolic dysfunction can be the result. It means heart don't relax properly.
Anyway you shouldn't worry, results are not bad. Heart contracts good

Wish you good health

Regards,
