What Does The Result Showing: Tiny Yolk Sac Seen(1.9mm), No Cardiac Activity, No Fetal Pole Indicate?
hello sir , i am prashanthkuamr working as a refractionist, my wife scan reports are M S D 2.45 cms 7weeks 4 days ,tiny yolk sac seen(1.9mm), no cardiac activity, no fetal pole,CERVIX 3.3 cms. IMPRESSION: Early single viable intra-uterine pregnan of GA 7 weeks 4 days
The scan report says that the fetus is in its earliest stages and the age calculated from the size of the gestational sac is approximately 7 weeks 4 days. However no fetal pole of cardiac activity is appreciated. Sometimes in may be a bit early to record the heart beat at 7 weeks. I suggest you get another scan done after 15 days to see heart of the fetus.
