What Does The Sinus Xray Mean?

Good Morning Doctor, This is regarding my husband, He is 33 , 6.3 inches tall and has a weight of about 75 Kg, Apparently he had headache problems accompanied with severe cold, Running nose, Our Physician advised us to get the X-ray done as symptoms are of sinus, we got the X-ray done, This is what report says:-

Bilateral Maxillary Sinus, Showing Mucosal Thicknening with deviated nasal septum towards right, Could you please explain this, iam little worried, Thanks.

This could be the reason why your husband might be experiencing headache. In his case he is having some infection in the maxillary sinuses which are air filled spaces on either side of the nose. So the point that he has mucosa thickening in these sinuses is a sign of infection. And the reason of this mucosa thickening could also be the deviation of nasal septum in your report.
It's nothing to be too worried as a course of medication will do as of now. But you have to look if these symptoms have been recurring cause if it's the case then you need to get him treated for his dns as gross dns is a cause of recurrent symptoms.
