What Does The Sperm Analysis Result Indicate?

Hi doctor , I am 32 year old my Semen Analysis Results Total Volume = About 0.5 M Colour = Greyish White Reaction = Alkaline Viscocity = High Liquefaction time = 1 hrs Sperm count = 102 Millians per Ml Proggresively Motile = 00 sluggishly Motile = 00 None Motile = 100 Normal Sperms = 40 Abnormal Sperms = 60 WBC = 3 - 5 RBC = 0 - 1 Spermatogenic cells = 1 - 3 Sperms in Clump = Present Others = Cell debris (+) Please Give me some ideas

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your semen analysis report suggests infection with nil motility.
Infection is indicated by the presence of WBC,RBC in semen.
Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI etc.
You need antibiotics for infection.
You need few more investigation like routine hemogram,Semen culture and sensitivity,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed after culture and sensitivity report.

If motility doesn't improve with control of infection then assisted fertilization techniques like IUI can be considered.
If IUI fails then IVF is the ultimate choice.

Other findings like sperm count and morphology are within normal limit.
