Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the blood report is as follows:
The white blood cell count is elevated. The white cell count is elevated in cases of infection.
The absolute neutrophil count is also raised. Thus, the infection is most probably bacterial in origin.
The red blood cell count is within normal limits.
Te platelet count is also within normal limits.
the red cell indices- MCV and MCH are reduced.
Thus, indicating that the red cells are smaller in size and the hemoglobinization of the red cells is also low.
A history of surgery in the past, some problem with the incision and increased neutrophil counts suggests that the incision site is developing infection.
The symptoms are probably due to infection of the incision site and not due to rejection of the mesh.
Consult your treating doctor for clinical assessment of the wound.

Thanks and take care
