I recently went to have ultrasound to check for bladder cancer. The ultrasound person says there is a distinct loss of corticomedullary differentiation to the kidneys which otherwise appear sonographically normal. no evidence of calculus lesion or hydronephrosis detected. right kidney measures 11.3cm length and left kdiney meuasures 10.7cm in length. normal appearnes to the urinary bladder.
If no hydronephrosis is detected than I don't think you have much to worry about. If you want to rule out bladder cancer, you will need a scope of your bladder. That is the only sure way.
