What Does Thickening Of Stomach Wall Suggest?

The surgeon that removed my gallbladder mentioneded that my stomach wall was little thick. He also said that if I didn t have any symptoms such as nausea, blood in my stool, vomiting, etc. to not worry about it. I feel great. Is the thickening of the stomach something I should follow up on just to be safe?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Stomach wall thickening could be commonly by chronic gastritis like condition.
It can also be by malignancy but in which stomach diffusely involved.....
You have no symptoms ...So yes no need for worry ....
Healthy and balanced diet taken ....
Fruits taken more ....
Tea , coffe , meat in excess avoided.
Stop smoking and alcohol if habit .

Follow up done after three to four month ...
Consult gastroenterologist for it....

Take care .
