What Does This CT Scan Report Indicate?

My 53 y/o sister was involved in an accident and has a hematoma with small leak in the left side of her head. The nurse said the CTS showed the area to be on the thyroidal area. I am unfamiliar with this area of the brain. The bled is stable at present, but from the area described, it should be the temporal or sphenoid area. Nora Brown

Hi,

There is no thyroidal area of the brain. You should refer to the Radiologist's report regarding the area damaged and extension.

Hope I have answered your query.
