Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does This MRI Test Result For Constant Knee Pain Indicate?
I was recently diagnosed based on an MRI with subchondral fracture in the weightbearing medial femoral condyle. Is there an alternative for crutches? How long will my recovery take. I had meniscus tear with an arthroscopic procedure on 12/23/15 with constant pain after the surgery. The MRI conclusion was the above diagnosis.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the fracture then it may take at least four to five weeks may be little more or less than this depends upon the nature of fracture and treatment given to it, it is nothing to take anything with the old history of meniscus repaired, for the pain you can try Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day, there no alternative crutches hope this information helps.
