Hi. I just want to know more about the result I have in Pap Smear.Type of Specimen: Endocervical/Ectocervical/Vaginal Wall,Clinical Impression: G1P0, Chronic Cervicitis,Type of Processing: Conventional,Adequacy of Specimen: Satisfactory for Evaluation,General Categorization: Negative for Intraepithelial lesion or malignancy,Descriptive Diagnosis: Bacterial Infection (predominance of coccobacilli consistent with shift in vaginal flora)Comments and Recommendation: Inflammation.Thank you!

Hello,

The results of your Pap smear show that:

You don't have any cancerous disease in colum or vagina.

You are suffering from a chronic infection that is a bacterial vaginosis caused by Gardnerella vaginalis.

This is causing your yellow and white discharge and also the fishy smell.

You can treat it with Clingen suppositories or with Polygynax suppositories with sexual abstinence.
