62 yrs, 6ft., 228lbs Had TURP surgery path report- The entire specimen is submitted for microscopic evaluation. Sections reveal prostate tissue showing fibromuscular and adenomatous hyperplasia. Focal chronic prostatitis noted. In block E, one small microscopic focus of atypical glandular infiltrate noted. Immunoperoxidase staining is performed and an addendum will be issued at a later date. History of enlarged prostate for years taking Jalyn, PSA normal Concerned of having Prostate Cancer? Valid concern?
According to ur report it says it is non cancerous except small doubt about atypical glandular saying it had chance of malignancy..psa nor mal means it mostly non cancer ous..depend upon immuno peroxide report if there is any cancer u can surely find it out.dont get afraid it 99 percent benign..hope I am help ful
