What Does This WBC Count Report Indicate?

my uncle suffering from leucopenia.his wbc count is nearly 1700 in last month but from last month his count is 500 with less nerutrocy but lymhocyte increased .bone marrow test was normalhe is infected with vivax maleria,pnemonia.granulocyte injection given from last fie days but no increase in wbc neutocyte normal but lymphocyte more.what shoulde be possibilities

Thanks for your query.
Based on your query and reports, am of the following opinion.
1. Leucopenia is a result of infection probably malaria.
2. Since his bone marrow is normal, leucopenia is transient and cell count will get to normal once the infection settles.
3. Lymphocytosis is relative as there is a decrease in neutrophil count.
4. For now he would require granulocyte therapy to correct the low counts.
5. Also treatment of underlying cause that is malaria and management of pneumonia is necessary.
