What Does This Abnormal Blood Test Result Indicate?

I have a 13 year old boy, 184cm tall and 63kg very healthy and no symptoms. But we did a blood test in May WBC count 2.5 (4.0-11.00), Neuts 0.8 (2.0-8.0) and ALP 580 everything else is normal we repeated the test today and WBC 3.1 (4-11) Neuts 1,21 (2.0-8.0) and ALP 448 Is there a problem? What could be the cause? What ather test could we do? David

Hi,

Rather than a blood test report it would have been more helpful if you had detailed more upon his symptoms. To give my opinion on the basis of these blood tests alone - I would say the CBC is normal. ALP is done in different methods in different labs. If it is elevated as per the lab standards of that lab - then we need to consider vitamin D deficiency.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
