Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... Good evening, doctor. I had whitish urine and went for urinalysis. The test showed albumin (++), sugar (-), epith cells(+0, pus cells (++) and red blood cells (+++). What could be the problem?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As there is albumin present with red blood cells, possible issue with urinary infection, renal glomeruli or tubules can be considered.
* Further work up with evaluation for the presence of cast, type of albumin and serum values of protein, total WBC count will matter major role to consider the final management system.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
