General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for your query.

This report shows that the uterus is enlarged due to multiple small growths in the uterine muscle.
The ovaries and surrounding structures are reported as normal.

Adenomyosis is a benign Condition and can be rarely associated with endometrial cancer. (does not cause cancer but can be similar to it)

Symptoms are usually menstrual problems like heavy bleeding, pain, clots etc.

I recommend :
-an OBGYN consult
- treatment options would depend on your wife's age and severity of symptoms & whether you would like to have children

I hope this helps. Please seek medical attention as soon as possible.
Wish you both good health.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

I find this answer helpful
