What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Report Suggest?

I had a pelvic ultra sound. It showed a shadow on the right ovary. I had a hysterecetomy 20 years ago but still have the ovaries. I was told it is most likely nothing probably calcification. I am going for a MRI to amke sure. My latest mamo showed calcification in the left breast. My Mom died of Breast cancer so I am very good at follow up and test. Your thought?

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Breast calcifications are small calcium deposits that develop in a woman's breast tissue. They are very common and are usually benign.
They develop during menopause.
You should consult a gynecologist for further evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
