What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Test Result In Men Indicate?

Sir,today US report say - my prostrate gland is enlarged in size (Volume - 47.4 cc) with heterogenous echotexture. Bladder base indentation is seen. A 9 mm calcific speck noted in the right central gland region. Serum PSA correlation is recommended..

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What the ultrasound report you have put up clearly says that your prostate gland is enlarged.
Since the findings says that the echotexture is heterogenous and a calcific speck is seen, it is better to rule out prostate cancer before any intervention is planned.
Hence, it is suggested to get your blood tested for Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) levels, which would give a proper picture about it. Kindly get it done as recommended.
