General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concerns.
According to the ultrasound reports you have furnished, it states that you have conceived, but the pregnancy has not progressed as it should have happened. Since there is no fetal cardiac activity detected and there is a cystic shadow detected around the sac, it is concluded as 'threatened abortion'.
The findings indicate that miscarriage is possible. However, many women who experience threatened abortion will still be able to carry the pregnancy to term. But your pregnancy will be viable only with the appearance of cardiac activity.
Kindly consult your doctor with the report for proper evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
