What Does This Throat Swab Report For Pharyngitis Indicate?
Hi doctor, good eve. I am Microbiology lab technician. I would like to know that There is a 55 yrs. old male patient having pharyngitis and isolated bacteria from throat swab is enterobacter aerogens . I would like to ask , Can we report this bacteria as a pathogen? Thanks jai Prakash suman

yes it is a pathogen. culture and sensitivity should be done. consult your doctor itis not your job.
