What Does Total Sperm Concentration 15.7 Mill/ml Indicate?

Good Evening Dr. I am 36 years what is severe asthenospermia my sperm analysis after 8th or 9th day report reads like this Liquefaction normal, volume 2.8ml, ph 8 , viscosity 8, total sperm concentration 15.7 mill/ml progressive notitlity nill , non progressive motility 8.9 % Immotile sperms 91.1% Morphology Calculated normal morphology, WHO 20% Please help me out

Hello, Sad to hear about your report. If I am your advising doctor, I would like to say you that some of your semen parameters requires attention like pH 8 which suggest alkaline and infectious etiology. Sperm concentration is 15.7 million/ml which is some what low, progressive motility is nil this is the utmost important to make ovum fertilize, you have immotile sperms 91.1% which is a worst situation. So in my suggestion I would like to add you that you might have some kind of infection and i would like to advice you to take doxycycline treatment for one week.
