What Does Vaginal Pain While On Monophasic Pills Indicate?

I m on a Monophasic birth control, this is my second month on it, I had a lot of thick white discharge, and for one day had pink discharge. One time when I wiped there was light green mucus on it. I was having pain in my vaginal opening. Now everything seems fine. What could it have been?

* So far as symptoms narrated here, vaginal pain is an isolated entity
not concerned with pills intake.

* There can be possible vaginal or cervical infection in form of bacteria or fungi responsible for vaginal pain with discharge.
