My throat was sore about 2 weeks ago. Then it cleared up, and my sinuses were acting up. I went to the doctor and he gave me an antibiotic for a sinus infection. About 4 days later, I noticed white spots on my right tonsil and was extremely nauseated, so I went back and got a culture tested for strep, which was negative. He said my throat and stomach problems were due to sinus drainage. Well now, 4 days later, I finished my antibiotic and don t feel sick anymore, but my right tonsil still has white spots and is swollen. There is one white spot on the left one, but the right tonsil definitely larger. I am freaking out because online it says if one tonsil is larger than the other it could be cancer, like lymphoma or something, so I m worrying myself to death. What could be the reason for this? I am 21 years old and am otherwise healthy. Thanks!
