What Does Worm Like Things And Tiny, Seedy Things In Stools Mean?

Hello, a few days ago I went to the er because I haven t been feeling good. I think I have some kind of parasite (I work with animals), I told the doctor and he didn t do anything about it he said I have a bacteria infection but never took a stool sample. I ve seen worm looking things in my stool, and black tiny tiny seedy things. I ve been looking for a dewormer and found Reese pinworm meds? Would you suggest this?

As per your descriptions, it could be round worms or pin worms but requires further evaluation by clinical examination and various tests.

You should go for complete blood counts,ESR, stool examination for R/M and for ova-cyst.

You may need deworming drugs like albendazole 400 mg once dosage to kill these parasites with other symptommatic medications.

So,it would be advisable that you see general surgeon for further evaluation and complete treatment.
