What Does Worms In Stool After Old Ovex Intake Indicate?

I gave my 2 and half year old ovex on sunday night, it is now wednesday night and after checking his stools earlier he still has a fair few worms that are moving, slower than they were before and also some dead ones, does this mean it is still working or does he need another dose?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
It seems that your son is suffering from thread worm infestation.
The drug of choice for thread worms is Ivermectin or mebendazole.
It is difficult to eradicate these worms.
Personal hygiene and simultaneous treatment to all the family members is important.
He require another one or more doses till the worms completely eradicated as autoinfection is common.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
