What Does X-ray Result Indicate?

I just had my x-ray test and the result indicates the following: 1. Suspicious infiltrates are seen in both apices. 2. Streaky and hazy infiltrates are noted in both lower lungs.3. Both are hyperaerated. 4. Heart is not enlarged. 5. Aorta is unremarkable. While the impressions where: 1. Suspicious infiltrates, both apices. An apicolordotic view is suggested. 2. Consider pneumonia, both lower lungs, with basal air trapping, bilateral. What do these things mean?

Thanks for writing in.

The report of X ray suggests possibility of pneumonia infection. This is usually a bacterial origin infection and is treated by a course of antibiotics. You must also take care not to expose yourself to dust and protect from extreme weather conditions. You may need a few days rest from work. The condition is completely treatable.
