What Does Yellow Discoloration Around Nuvaring Indicate?

Hi, I ve been using nuvaring for about 8 months now with no problems. I inserted a new one a few days ago, and I ve noticed that one section of it is yellow. I m no longer bleeding, so I don t think it s stained from that... Could it be broken? Is it a problem if I leave it in for another day or two until I get a prescription for a new one?

Hello,
thanks for choosing healthcare magic for your query...
I understand your concern.
Relax for yellowish discoloration of the ring .It's completely normal. It is because of air exposure. Some vaginal discharge is also common. It is just a reaction of the vagina to foreign body.

there is nothing to worry about.
You can plan your doctor visit as per previously scheduled.

I hope this helps...
If any further queries please feel free to ask...
