What Dosage Of Duphaston Is Advisable For Heavy Bleeding During Pregnancy?

hi,my sister is presently 5 months pregnant and she always experiencing heavy bleeding.Presently the General Physician prescribed her to take 40mg of dupahston once a day and the following day will be 10mg in every 8hours.What dosage could you recommend for her?Thank you.

Duphaston is prescribed in threatened pregnancy, 40 mg stat (immediately) followed by 10 mg twice or thrice a day depending on the requirement and status of the individual patient. So your sister's doctor has prescribed the correct dosage to help support her pregnancy.
