What Foods Are Recommended For Stimulation And Weight Gain?

Hi Dr Grief My 28 year old son has been diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer he has had 2 sessions of chemo and radiotherapy with of prognosis of less than 6 months to live we are trying to fight the cancer with herbal remedies and are looking into trials at the moment He has lost weight and wants to build up his muscles as he feels his legs are weak at times. He has a great appetite at the moment - can you recommend any foods that would stimulate him or help him gain weight Thank you Bernadette Mulgrew

Hi

Since your son has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer i would advise protein supplement powder for him to gain weight.
He can also take appetite stimulant syrup to increase his nutrition.
