What Happens If The Pills Are Not Taken As Directed?
I started taking sprintec yesterday. after reading the direction like a hundred times today, i noticed that it said you should start taking the pills the Sunday after you started your period. at first glance i thought it said the Sunday after you period. so i was off my period for about 5 days before i started taking the pill. will this effect the way the pill works?

It is fine even if you have started your pill pack from day 5 and if continued daily without any sex during the week then you shall stand protected from pregnancy and also your dates of menses shall be changed by a week.
